The Ozone Layer was slowly burning away and all life on the planet would soon be exposed to massive amounts of radiation from the sun. The sky was turning red and the earth would soon become another Mars. Humanity had 24 hours to try and save what was left of civilization.
Widespread panic engulfed the globe. Buildings and entire cities went up in flames. Civilization was on the brink of collapse.
The few people that survived banded together. Some tried to form a plan. There wasn't much time left, but there was still hope.
The small but intrepid group worked tirelessly to equip and stock a rocket that would take them away from all the death and destruction.
Repairs were made. Instruments were checked. The rocket was made ready to launch.
Rocket fuel tanks were filled. Food and water were loaded. People began to board.
The rocket was ready to go, and time was running out. It was now, or never!
No one but the pilot had ever been in space before. The voyage to a new home was going to be difficult, but remaining on the earth was no longer an option.
Kepler 452 had been chosen as the most best option for a new home planet. It is in the circumstellar habitable zone of a G2 class star similar to Sol in the Cygnus constellation. Unfortunately it is 1200 light years away, and there will be an extended period spent in suspended animation for the passengers and crew to survive the journey.
Falling into the gaping maw of the blackhole, the crew thought their spaceship would be ripped apart or crushed, but instead there was just a vast, empty void. Completely empty but for one thing.
The crew had never encountered anything like this device before. They pondered it's purpose, but left with no other hope for escape, they decided to press the glowing button on it's top.
The Alien Technology returned the crew to their home planet. The planet Earth, as it was 10,000 years before they had left it. A planet that was still pristine and unspoiled by the greed and pollution of the human species.
Humanity would get another chance. A chance to build a new civilization in paradise. There is one problem. The planet is already populated by humans. Humans without their advanced technology. Can they live alongside them and not seem to be Gods?
